New, re-stocked, and a shopping extravaganza with Team ESST!

First off, we have a new color 11mm vintage style rosebud cabochon! The vintage flowers have become very popular for jewelry designs, and many crafts. They are re-making a lot of the old styles in many new and fun colors! We just got our hands on Bubblegum Pink, to join our coral, matte black, turquoise, and white 11mm size roses. You can now find the Bubblegum Pink in our shop.

Second- we have re-stocked some raw brass scalloped edge settings! Sizes 40x30, and 18x13 ovals.

And guess what time it is? It's already the first weekend of the month Shopping Extravaganza on Etsy put on by Team ESST! Anyone with a shop on Etsy (supplies, vintage, and handmade) can join in and promote their shop together during this event. It is site wide, with no exclusions among Etsy shop owners!

Going green?

Recently one of my team members (West Coast Sea Glass) from the Etsy Supply Street Team made a wonderful post, including a handy check-list on going green with your business. It points out some simple ways that not only help the earth, but that can cut costs as well! One of the tips is to recycle your waste as much as possible. Keeping a bin near your work area can make this job simple, and keep things looking neat.

An easy way to cut down on paper waste if you are printing shipping labels from PayPal - you can print multiple labels on each piece of paper! We currently are able to print 4 labels, 2 on each side of the paper (check your settings before printing). This has reduced our paper waste significantly, and it leaves us only about 1 inch strips from the margins when we are done. This sized paper is also handy to add to your compost bins if you have one, which is what we like to do with some of ours.
